The combination of percussion and voice is one of the oldest types of music. Based on this ancient relation, Lamia Bedioui, Solis Barki and Nikos Souliotis invite the listener on a journey through space and time from the Berbers and the Bedouins of Algeria, Yemen, Palestine, the Eskimos, Lapland, the Jews of Bulgaria and Bosnia, Egypt to the troubadours of France.

The journey through time begins somewhere in the 13th century and ends in the beginning of 20th century.

The songs contain voice and percussion improvisations.

Percussion instruments from the all over the world are used, as well as some very particular instruments and various sound objects.

L.Bedioui will also sing Arabic Easter Hymns, and with G. Vourna (oud, guitar and voice) songs from various countries of Mediterranean.
